It's tough to be a refugee, you hear about your motherland and you see Morocco selling our fish and our natural resources and we don't have anything here and everyone knows about that but no one tells them they don't have the right to do that!

I don't think the peace process will bring anything, Europe is still Europe, America, even with Obama, will still support Morocco, they have a good relationship with them. Eighteen years and nothing happens while Morocco keeps kidnapping and oppressing the Saharawis! Seven [Saharawis] came here from the occupied territory to visit and when they go back they are arrested and there is no UN for them, nothing! They are now in jail and some of them are sick.

We do not ask for more food or water. We can handle the hunger, the thirst, and the heat. We ask for help so we can go home. We are a peaceful people. We are not extremists. We dream of a secular and democratic state in our land. We do not kidnap, murder, or terrorise anyone. We do not commit criminal acts to make the news. What else can we do as peaceful people? What will it take to bring an end to this injustice? For me we need to think about another way, if it keeps like this it is better to go to war.
